In the early 1990s, Muslims established a community in Greenside/Emmarentia, leading to the founding of a Madressa in 1994 with 14 pupils. The Greenside Muslim Association (GMA) was created to serve local Muslim families. Plans for a new complex, including a Masjid and residential facilities, are set to begin in early 2001. Read more →
